Snuggle® Bear got a makeover! He’s not a mascot – he’s an icon. With the same look since the 1980s, it was time for Snuggle Bear to join the modern world. Now animated, our new Snuggle® Bear is always smiling because he’s always cozy.
Snuggle® Bear was created by the legendary Jim Henson Company, the same puppetry company that created the Muppets®. The Snuggle® Bear was introduced to the world in 1986.
Snuggle® Bear was originally voiced by Corinne Orr, famous voice actress. Corinne is also known for her roles in Speed Racer®, Puss in Boots®, and P B & J Otter®.
Snuggle® Bear starred in the 1987 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Snuggle® Bear visited every state in the United States.
Snuggle® Bear won “Icon of the Year” from the Madison Avenue Walk of Fame in 2014.
